Definition of Discussion Text
Discussion/ Diskusi adalah proses menemukan latar belakang umum antara dua
pemikiran, pandangan, atau pendapat. Jadi Discussion Text dapat disimpulkan sebagai
berikut;
Discussion Text adalah yang menyajikan masalah perdebatan. Masalah ini akan
didiskusikan dari sudut pandang yang berbeda. Diskusi ini secara umum ditemukan
di philosopi, sejarah, dan juga teks social. Dengan kata lain, diskusi
merupakan sebuah jenis dari sebuah cara untuk menyajikan (minimal) dua sudut
pandang tentang topik permasalahan.

– Argument pro : Menyajikan

results from learning. By using computer
connected to Internet, students can learn English or another subject online. They can make reports more easily by using
word processing software. They can play game if they feel bore. However, a
computer sometimes can also give negative impacts for a student.
One important thing from computer or makes a computer useful is students can use it
to finish some assignments from schools. With connecting to Internet, they can
easily search and find any materials that related to their lessons and
assignments. They have so many unlimited resources from all over the world.
Online libraries are also open. Some of book are free to download and they can read by
online. Finding friends from related field of study or different country is not
difficult anymore. They can work together to improve their best achievement.
What more benefit is they can do all of that just by sitting on their chair of
their rooms or their favorite place. What a great world it is, isn’t?
Although a computer has many benefits, it should be thought deeply. A computer particularly does not
promote students to do and move more. A computer makes students have less
physical activities outside. Even a lot of them forget to have lunch or dinner
while they are playing game. They just sit in front of monitors a long the day.
They are stayed in the mystique of the smart machines. In another words,
students who usually works or play with computers tend to have a few physical
activities and exercises.
So what should they do? Should they avoid for using computers? Of course “No”. Computer will
make best benefits if physical activities are also promoted to done by the
students.
